Production Manager

Purpose:
The production manager is to have a very good understanding of the production at the site, working closely with site supporting teams to achieve expected safety and productivity of the site. He or/she will lead his team to conduct, monitor and improve the production performance in terms HSE(LTA\MTA),FTR,OTIF, productivity, OEE and consumption.

Responsibility:

· Routine report to Operations Manager;

· Ensure EHS and social responsibility compliance in production with the support of EHS Manager and HR manager.

· Identify the critical tasks in production scope, ensure SOP are deployed appropriately;

· A strong focus on leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives and opportunities in striving for cost saving in production.

· Work with sales and R&D to drive high efficient execution of samples making and new project developments in timelines, cost optimization and customers’ requirement.

· Benchmarking on peers/competitors, setup performance objectives for production team.

· To manage plant production output through capacity planning, tools monitoring, material yield, improving changeover.

· Deploy WCM methodology in production, visual management, dashboard indicating to develop teams’ spirit on continuous improvement.

· Manage production staff including goals setting, performance management, career development, training & coaching.

· Cost saving concept to achieve the company target;

Team work spirit.

Requirement:

· Bachelor or/ above in automation, machine, electrical engineering, etc.

· Minimum 5 years working experiences, preferably as production management in similar industry process flow 

· Knowledge of plastics injection and metallization 

· Solid experience and strong commitment to EHS practices.

· Solid experience in lean manufacturing and Kaizen / continuous improvement. 

· Good problem solving / analytical abilities

· Strong leadership with good people and team management skills.

· Ability to set priorities and to efficiently plan and allocate time and resources.

· Considerable knowledge and working experience of ISO quality system.

· Considerable knowledge and working experience with ERP system.

· Good customer service ethics

· Self motivated and act with ethics and social responsibility

· Good command of English speaking and writing.
