Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Lead the co-ordinated management of the execution of client's China’s Strategic Plan in all of its elements, as agreed by the client Group Exec.
Against agreed goals, develop and implement the programs and projects necessary to fast-track strategic delivery across the business with dates and gates, key initiatives, KPI’s and metrics to drive the maximization of client's China’s geographical, domain, sector and stream opportunities.
Ensure the 3 year strategic plan provides all key performance and financial measures for the business; anticipating cost needs and all other aspects of planning, including the annual budgeting, forecasting and strategic review processes.
Lead and program manage all Go To Market activity from market analysis, product development to mobilisation working with the business to ensure they are organisationally ready to sell and deliver.
Work with the business to ensure the strategic resource planning process is embedded and owned to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time to deliver the 3 year rolling strategic plan.
Work with the Greater China MD to develop investments cases and business plans as required to support the accelerated growth of the China business.
Work with the Greater China MD and Corporate Development Director on China M&A strategy to identify significant strategic acquisitions or alliances which enhance the client offering.
Act as the point of contact for China when assessing all Group and strategic projects with the Greater China MD.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to manage within a matrix structure.
Experience of leading a virtual collaborative team
A demonstrable record of executing plans and delivering projects through others.
Extensive program and project management skills essential with a proven record of mobilising strategic plans
Strong commercial business acumen; a good insight of industry, sectors and strategic development.
Strong general management & leadership skills in the areas of project delivery, people, P&L, collaborative working, influencing and persuading.
Proven experience in delivering business growth aligned to clear strategic objectives
Ability to build an effective virtual team and demonstrate clear leadership skills.
A proven track record in developing and executing business strategies.
Experience of planning and mobilising new sectors, businesses, products and solutions essential
Demonstrated ability to forge relationships with senior level decision makers.
Ability to develop effective relationships, and therefore operate successfully at all levels, within and outside the organisation
Good executive level communication and presentation skills.
Ability to see the ‘big picture’ and translate vision into an executable plan
Client business language is English therefore good level of written and spoken English is essential
