• manage all powertrain belongings in China, meet development targets and project milestones
• manage powertrain system validation in China
• manage granting of Chinese production license
• manage to meet NDRC and CARTAC requirements
• ramp up Chinese powertrain team
• manage Chinese powertrain homologation
• manage Chinese suppliers (sourcing, monitoring, escalation, synchronization, …), especially Chinese battery cell supplier
• synchronize with project milestones
• manage all china specific powertrain aspects
• communication of powertrain aspects in China on behave of VP Powertrain
• manage handshake to powertrain and vehicle manufacturing
• lean & self-responsible reporting to VP, escalation whenever necessary
• risk management (all relevant impacts) incl. fall back solutions
• manage own division belongings to achieve all targets (budget, recruiting, organization, international synchronization, cost targets, timeline, deliverables, …)
• reporting /communication / press information to VP and other executives
• support diagnosis concept, EMC measures, SW & HW release management, vehicle planning, homologation process
Qualification:
1. Industry background: automotive, supplier
2. Knowledge and skills: development, negotiate, manage business unit, Chinese language
3. Education / Experience: Master, PhD, Dipl.-Ing., or comparable / 10 years or more
4. Competencies: System knowledge and integration, find alternative solutions, self-organization
